The Office Support Clerk will:
Complete administrative support duties related to operations of the Developmental Disabilities Supports Division (DDSD), Northwest Regional Office; Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding the bureau's activities and providing administrative support to all bureau members. How does it get done? The Office Support Clerk is responsible for: Providing the following support to include but not limited to: answering phones, filing, processing training and travel, maintaining fleet of vehicles, ordering office supplies and postage, maintaining time sheets, distributing mail, working with vendors to address issues with office equipment when not working correctly; Assisting regional office coordinators and nurses with Health and Safety site visit entries and schedule visits; Managing the Health and Safety visit list; Taking minutes during staff meetings; Assisting with managing Case Management case load lists. Minimum Qualification No prior experience or training required. Employment Requirements Must possess and maintain a valid New Mexico Driver's License. Must possess and maintain a current Defensive Driving Course Certificate from the State of New Mexico or must pass and receive a Defensive Driving Course Certificate as a condition of continued employment within 45 days of employment. Travel may be required with some occasional overnight stays. Successful completion of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Working Conditions Work is performed in an office setting with exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT) and extensive personal computer and phone usage. Some sitting, standing, bending, and reaching may be required. Direct client interaction and some travel may be required with some occasional overnight stays.
