The Leave Coordinator will be responsible for supporting with specific functions aligning with leave administration, supporting assigned vendor relationships, participating in strategic and innovation sessions, owning and driving process improvement, and assisting with denied leaves and other project based work as needed. What You'll Do Assist with administration of day-to-day function of leaves such as eligibility status, completion of state disability forms, denied leave of absences, and return to work Be the front line to answer questions regarding leave policies, processes, and leave status in person and via email or chat Provide administrative support using several Tesla or other vendor software systems to ensure accurate data and completion of inquiries from employees and other stakeholders Preserves confidentiality of employee records and medical documentation Maintains knowledge of all company policies and applicable leave laws including the FMLA, ADA, USERRA, Pregnancy Discrimination Act, and state and local laws Build strong cross-functional relationships with key stakeholder groups, such as Payroll, HR, Workplace Health, ADA, as well as employees and managers What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree or equivalent in relevant work experience Minimum 1 year of experience in benefits, human resources, or leave of Absence administration Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work with ambiguity, in a frequently changing, fast-paced environment Ability to prioritize work and execute multiple projects and tasks in parallel Proven ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing Proven experience in all Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint and Word Compensation and Benefits Benefits Along with competitive pay, as a full-time Tesla employee, you are eligible for the following benefits at day 1 of hire: Medical plans > plan options with $0 payroll deduction Family-building, fertility, adoption and surrogacy benefits Dental (including orthodontic coverage) and vision plans, both have options with a $0 paycheck contribution Company Paid (Health Savings Accounts) HSA Contribution when enrolled in the High-Deductible medical plan with HSA Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) 401(k) with employer match, Employee Stock Purchase Plans, and other financial benefits Company paid Basic Life, AD&D Short-term and long-term disability insurance (90 day waiting period) Employee Assistance Program Sick and Vacation time (Flex time for salary positions, Accrued hours for Hourly positions), and Paid Holidays Back-up childcare and parenting support resources Voluntary benefits to include: critical illness, hospital indemnity, accident insurance, theft & legal services, and pet insurance Weight Loss and Tobacco Cessation Programs Tesla Babies program Commuter benefits Employee discounts and perks program Tesla is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
