Job Description
CAH-Surgical Clinic -Secretary -Full time-Day Shift-8a-4p-Req 7930 Pay Range $19.07-$24.31• Requires a self-directing individual to assist the staff of hospital outpatient services to provide an inviting, welcoming environment in which patients may receive desired services with maximum confidentiality, privacy, efficiency, and effectiveness. Interacts with patients, guests, staff, and consultants with respect and discretion. Supports the operations of the service with highly developed administrative/organizational/record-keeping/clerical and interpersonal skills. Can organize and work effectively with a broad scope of multiple tasks. Schedules appointments, answers telephone and prioritizes and relays messages as appropriate. Registers patients accurately and distributes all required consents, instructions, and in-services information. Maintains accurate medical records and billing information. Complies with established policies and procedures. May be required to float to other Clinics and hospital departments as needed. Must adhere to organizational appearance and conduct policy. Patient-focused, detail-oriented and computer-savvy medical receptionist. Personable and courteous in all interactions with patients and team members and skilled at anticipating physician and practice needs. Effective in handling office and administrative tasks within busy, multi-physician practice.
