Job Description
Assist chairside: room setup & turnover, instrument prep, patient seating, charting, & post‑op instructions Translate Spanish & English accurately during patient interactions & treatment explanations Front desk coverage: greet patients, check‑in & check‑out, appointment scheduling, phone & email, verify & enter patient info Verify insurances, eligibility, coverage. Manage purchase orders & supplies at the front as needed; maintain a clean, organized workspace Coordinate with the dentist & team to keep the day on schedule; anticipate needs & follow through What we're looking for
Bilingual:
fluent Spanish & English with clear, accurate translation Some dental experience or completion of a Dental Assisting course Self‑starter with strong work ethic, professionalism, & kindness Learns quickly, multitasks well, communicates clearly, & is consistently punctual Reliable transportation & dependable attendance Hours, pay, & benefits Approximately 30-40 hours per week; in‑office role (Central Islip) Pay commensurate with experience & skills Benefits include paid time off & 401(k) when eligible Nice to have Experience with dental software ( Eaglesoft) Radiography or infection control certifications (if applicable in NY)Pay:
$17.00 - $22.00 per hourBenefits:
