Job Description:
Gilboa-Conesville Central School is accepting applications for the following position: Administrative Support I Full-time, 12-month position to begin on 7/1/26. Must meet minimum civil service requirements. Duties will include but not be limited to using computers and various software programs to collect, enter and prepare data and information for reports, schedules, files, student records, letters, meeting minutes, purchase orders, spreadsheets and other data.
Starting salary:
$37,000.
Minimum Qualifications:
(A) Graduation from a regionally accredited college or university or one accredited by the New York State with an Associate degree or higher in Business Administration, Accounting, mathematics or a closely related field; OR (B) High School diploma or possession of a high school equivalency diploma AND two years of paid professional clerical experience working with accounts or budgets.
NOTE:
Part-time employment can be pro-rated to count towards full-time (based on number of hours worked per week). This position is part of the
NY HELPS
Program, which removes the civil service exam requirement. Employees hired under the
NY HELPS
Program will be appointed on a permanent basis.

MS/HS Principal Duties:
Uses computers and various software programs to collect, enter and prepare data and Information for reports, schedules, files, student records, letters, meeting minutes, purchase Orders, spreadsheets and other data Establishes and maintains office procedures as well as confidential and general office files and records Answers calls, directs to appropriate staff and provide answers to questions Cross-trains others in specialized procedures and will be cross-trained.
