Monday - Friday 8:30am -5:00pm Who we are: Spire Orthopedic Partners is a growing national partnership of orthopedic practices that provides the support, capital and operational resources physicians need to grow thriving practices for the future. As a Management Services Organization (MSO), Spire provides the infrastructure for administrative operations that allows practices to operate at their highest level, so doctors can focus their efforts on what matters most - patient care. Headquartered in Stamford, Connecticut, the Spire network spans the Northeast with more than 165 physicians, 1,800 employees, 285 other clinical providers and 40 locations in New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts. What you'll do:
Responsibilities/Duties:
Ensuring orders of Dopplers and medications for patients are processed. Scheduling of IMEs and phone depositions. Assisting with iPads with patients. Setting up team meetings with depts. Setting up meetings for doctors with vendors. Filing all doctors' certificates and refilling for all reappointments for hospitals. Relay patient and physician messages internally and externally. Main hub for telecommunications with all depts (example MRI front desk physicians, PT). Sometimes room patients if short staffed in the office. Obtaining medical records (operative reports) for patients and other departments (i.e.: billing dept). When other admin assistants are out of the office ensure that their work is covered so that important tasks are not overlooked or delayed. Triage patient calls. Manage the physician's schedules to ensure proper template is being followed. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Who you are:
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Strong Excel, Word & Outlook skills. Strong customer service support skills. Excellent interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills - verbal & written. Punctual, reliable, hardworking, well organized, professional and detail orientated. Ability to problem solve and make decisions quickly. Knowledge of administrative procedures.
