Full Job Description Overview:
Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS), a nonprofit founded in 1943, has grown to be the largest provider of licensed outpatient community mental health services and one of the largest human service agencies in Westchester County. We provide state-of-the-art programs and services and compassionate care to more than 20,000 people of all ages and backgrounds each year. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to join our Substance Use and Co-occurring Disorders (SUD/COD) treatment program team. In this role, you will provide essential administrative and office management support to ensure the smooth and effective operation of the program. The salary range for this full-time position is $52,000 - $55,000.
Responsibilities:
As a valued member of our team, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Coordinate and manage scheduling for clients enrolled in the SUD/COD Program. Respond to phone calls and emails related to program services. Provide intake materials to new clients and review program expectations, including schedules and guidelines. Track and report program participant data to internal and external stakeholders. Support the Assistant Director and Director with reporting, documentation, and audit-related activities. Process authorizations to initiate and continue substance use treatment services, as needed. Assist with planning and preparation for outreach and engagement activities. Coverage of the front desk, as needed.
Requirements:
