full-time Compliance Administrative Assistant Join a growing logistics company as a Compliance Administrative Assistant, providing administrative support across Safety & Loss Prevention, Legal and HR. This role is on-site 5 days a week in
New Hyde Park, NY/Nassau County Key Responsibilities:
Safety & Loss Prevention Maintain claim files and documentation for Workers' Compensation, General Liability, and Property Damage claims; track status and follow up on outstanding items Support OSHA recordkeeping (300/301/300A) and maintain Loss Prevention case files (theft, cargo loss, security incidents) Track completion of monthly safety activities, training records, and certifications (e.g., PIT/forklift); follow up with facility leaders on overdue corrective actions Assist with department reporting and provide general administrative support (scheduling, documents, vendor/invoice tracking) Legal Maintain legal files and the contract tracker in Summize Support compliance filings/renewals with the registered agent and track legal hold requests Provide general administrative support to the Legal Department Human Resources Coordinate interviews, maintain applicant/requisition records, and prepare offer and onboarding documents Assist with HR compliance documentation and general department support Experience & Qualifications 0-2 years of administrative, HR, legal, or compliance experience Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; comfortable juggling multiple deadlines Ability to handle confidential information and follow up effectively across teams Experience with recordkeeping/tracking systems a plus; logistics/transportation industry experience a plus Education Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred (Business, HR, Legal Studies, or related), or equivalent experience
