Job Overview Supplier Park Industries is a labor contract company that works directly on General Motors Components Holdings (GMCH) Lockport, NY site. We provide award winning quality and resource support while creating highly efficient methods for labor intensive processes within General Motors. We are seeking an Engineering Administrative Support employee to assist a cross-functional engineering team with project coordination, documentation, data tracking, and day-to-day operational support. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent high school graduate or early-career candidate who is organized, detail-oriented, and interested in building technical knowledge. The employee will help the team stay organized and on schedule by supporting project activities, maintaining records, creating job instructions and coordinating communication across internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate is dependable, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced on-site environment. Responsibilities Support engineers and project leads with daily administrative and project-related tasks Maintain engineering documents, logs, trackers, and reports Quoting purchased parts, setting up spare parts Help organize project files, drawings, specifications, and related records Track open issues, deadlines, deliverables, and follow-up items Compile basic data and prepare summaries, charts, and presentations Support continuous improvement efforts by helping standardize documentation and processes Assist with purchasing requests, inventory tracking, or material coordination as needed Perform other team support duties as assigned Qualifications High School Graduate Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Effective written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively Comfortable working on-site and collaborating with cross-functional teams Basic problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new systems and processes
Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
