Job Description

Who We Are Pitingaro & Doetsch Consulting Engineers, P.C. (P&D) is a growing local consulting engineering firm in the Hudson Valley, NY. We are seeking a part-time or full-time Administrative Assistant for our Middletown, NY office. Qualifications Associate's degree and/or certificate from an accredited program 3-10 years' of administrative experience, preferably for executive leadership and/or at a professional services company Strong Microsoft Suite, Adobe Acrobat and G-Suite proficiency Some basic accounting/bookkeeping/financial management/budgeting experience a plus Efficiency, accuracy and responsibility Self-directed with a high degree of project ownership High degree of discretion and confidentiality Exceptionally organized and capable of multitasking and managing busy calendars with concurrent deadlines Duties Maintain both personal and business information with confidentiality and discretion Assist firm principal in managing both personal and work obligations, including but not limited to scheduling internal and external meetings Prepare, format and edit professional correspondence Manage communications and answer phones Assist firm principal in organizing daily tasks and digital and physical files May assist front desk in ordering and maintaining general office supplies May assist in business management tasks on an as-needed basis May assist with special projects Description Play a vital role in organizing work flows and managing scheduling so that our firm can focus on broader business goals. What You Should Know The position is fully in office , generally between the hours of 8-5 pm, 24 to 40 hours per week (depending on your availability), consisting of a set schedule with some opportunity for flex time.
