Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Construction Project Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the successful planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from inception to completion. Your energetic approach will help ensure projects stay on schedule, within budget, and meet quality standards. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in construction management while contributing to impactful infrastructure projects. You will work closely with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations and effective communication across all phases of construction. Responsibilities Support project managers in preparing and reviewing construction estimates, budgets, and contracts to maintain financial accuracy Coordinate project documentation including RFIs (Requests for Information), change orders, submittals, and daily reports Track project milestones, deliverables, and deadlines to keep all team members aligned on project timelines Facilitate communication between contractors, suppliers, clients, and internal teams to resolve issues promptly Manage project files and records meticulously to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements Must have a good working knowledge of computers, file management and Microsoft office. General office duties, scanning, copying and daily phone contact with project superintendents, property owners, suppliers and subcontractors Prepare meeting minutes, coordinate meetings, prepare agendas and track action items Support clear communication and project documentation through project life cycle Create and maintain baseline spreadsheets and data tracking in excel, prepare bid proposals and presentations Follow up with subcontractors, vendors and internal team to ensure tasks are completed Manage and organize project files and emails in Microsoft Outlook Skills/Qualifications Previous construction or project administration experience is required Proficiency with Procore construction management software Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively Effective communication skills for coordinating among diverse project stakeholders Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Knowledge of Timberline construction software is beneficial A focused individual who cares about the quality of their work A team member who thrives in a focused, productive work culture Person who is proactive, reliable and takes initiative A strong communicator who understands that follow-up is the key to project success Deadline and detail-oriented Has the ability to multi-task Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and Outlook Strong organizational skills required Ability to learn new systems and software programs
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
