We handle complex, high-net-worth divorce, custody, and family law matters in Westchester County and throughout the New York metropolitan area. We are a small, partner-led team that moves fast, holds a high standard, and treats clients navigating one of the most difficult chapters of their lives with genuine care. The right person for this role will help us do both — run a tight ship and treat people well. The Role You will be the operational backbone of the office: the first voice clients hear, the person who keeps the calendar honest, and the reason nothing falls through the cracks. You will work directly with the managing partner and the firm's attorneys every day. This is not a back-office job — it is a visible, trusted position at the center of an active litigation practice. What You Will Do Answer phones and greet clients; handle new-client inquiries and intake with warmth and discretion Manage attorney calendars — court appearances, conferences, depositions, and filing deadlines Prepare, format, and proofread correspondence and court documents on firm letterhead E-file with the courts via NYSCEF and coordinate with court clerks, process servers, and vendors Maintain and organize electronic client files, including scanning and indexing discovery and financial records Support billing operations in our practice-management system (Clio): time entries, invoices, and retainer tracking Keep the office running: mail, supplies, vendors, and day-to-day logistics Who You Are 2+ years of administrative experience; law firm experience strongly preferred (matrimonial or litigation experience is a real plus) Meticulous proofreader with excellent written and spoken English Organized, deadline-driven, and calm under pressure — litigation practice does not wait Discreet and professional; our clients' matters are confidential and often emotionally charged Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook; comfortable learning legal software (NYSCEF, Clio, Adobe Acrobat) Notary public, or willing to become one, is a plus
