Job Description

Office Assistant in Akron, Ohio
  • USA We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Assistant for our company based in Akron, Ohio.
This is a full-time position with a salary of $1500 per month. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for performing various administrative and clerical tasks to support the efficient operation of our office.
Responsibilities:
  • Greet and welcome visitors and clients to the office
  • Answer phone calls, take messages, and redirect calls as necessary
  • Maintain office supplies inventory by checking stock levels and placing orders
  • Organize and schedule appointments for management team
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for staff members
  • Keep track of employee attendance records
  • Maintain electronic and paper records ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
  • Assist in organizing company events or meetings
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications are a plus
  • Proven experience as an office assistant or in a related field
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic computer skills
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Ability to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Attention to detail with high level of accuracy Our ideal candidate would be a motivated individual who is able to work well under pressure.
They should have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff. Previous experience working in an office setting is preferred but not required.
