Job Description

Job Description We are seeking a dependable, organized, and proactive Part-Time Administrative Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of the Ashbrook Center. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently, prioritize responsibilities, and provide professional and welcoming support to staff, interns, and visitors. Duties include, but are not limited to: Answer the main phone line, take messages, and disseminate information to appropriate staff. Order office and kitchen supplies and monitor inventory levels to ensure needed items are available. Monitor interns and assist with assigning and coordinating their workload. Welcome and assist visitors by providing directions, answering questions, and connecting them with appropriate personnel. Manage incoming and outgoing USPS mail and UPS packages. Work with related departments to execute tasks and provide administrative support as needed. Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Ashbrook workroom and intern suite. Perform other administrative duties and special projects as assigned. Required Qualifications Two plus (2+) years professional office experience required. Detail oriented, self-motivated and able to take initiative with minimal supervision. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Professional, friendly, and dependable demeanor. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work effectively in an active office environment. Comfortable working with staff, interns, visitors, and colleagues across departments. Knowledge of general office software and equipment usage. Experience in non-profit fundraising or marketing experience a plus, but no prior experience in these fields is required. Applicant must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
