Job Description

The Training Administrative Assistant is responsible for coordinating recruitment efforts for the GROB Apprenticeship Program and serving as the primary contact for applicants to the program. This entry-level role provides administrative support to the Training Department while helping execute recruitment activities and prepare for each new apprenticeship class. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and an excellent communicator with the confidence to present information to large audiences.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Proactively schedule and conduct presentations at local high schools Represent GROB at career fairs and other community outreach events Develop and facilitate STEM activities at local elementary schools Coordinate GROB facility visits, including job shadows, school tours, and Apprentice Open House events Collaborate with GROB's Marketing Department on social media and recruitment materials for the Apprenticeship Program Partner with Human Resources and IT to maintain program website Manage apprenticeship applications in our Applicant Tracking System (SAP SuccessFactors) and prescreen candidates Oversee candidate communications throughout the recruitment and selection process Coordinate applicant testing and schedule interviews Additional administrative tasks as required
Education & Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree preferred in Education, Communications, Human Resources, or other related field of study; OR Associate Degree and relevant work experience
