Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking reliable candidates to join our quality of life dental practice a part-time or full-time capacity supporting our front office and clinical team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide exceptional patient care while supporting various administrative and clinical functions. Ideal candidates will be energetic, detail-oriented and eager to contribute to a positive patient experience and team environment. You will be responsible for handling front desk operations, assisting with chair-side duties and ensuring smooth daily workflows. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, check-in and check-out efficiently and manage appointment scheduling using Dentrix, etc. Assist with clinical duties including taking x-rays, intra-orals, preparing patients for procedures and supporting chairside. Maintain accurate medical records, document procedures using dental terminology, and assist with medical coding for billing purposes. Manage administrative tasks such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, updating patient records and entering insurance carriers. Experience Previous experience working in a dental environment is highly preferred, especially in roles involving dental assisting. Familiarity with Dentrix is preferred for efficient documentation and scheduling. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols is required to ensure patient confidentiality and safety. Experience with general dentistry practices is advantageous. Strong understanding of dental terminology, and imaging techniques enhances your ability to support clinical operations effectively. Proven ability to perform chairside assisting tasks such as operating X-ray equipment, and supporting various dental procedures. Ability to adapt quickly while maintaining professionalism and excellent patient service skills.
