Dental Front Desk Assistant — Part-Time (2-3 Days/Week) Looking for a dental front office role that fits your life? Affordable Dentures & Implants is hiring a part-time Dental Front Desk Assistant for 2-3 days per week — ideal if you're semi-retired, balancing family, working a second role, or simply want meaningful work without a five-day commitment. You'll be the first point of contact for our patients: a friendly, organized, customer-focused professional who helps create an exceptional patient experience while supporting a team dedicated to transforming lives through high-quality tooth replacement solutions. Competitive hourly compensation A predictable part-time schedule with real work-life balance Supportive, team-oriented work environment Comprehensive new hire training and onboarding provided Work alongside experienced dentists and dental professionals Opportunity to grow — including a path to additional days or full-time if you ever want it Make a meaningful impact on patients' lives every day What You'll Do On your scheduled days, you'll deliver outstanding customer service and keep the front office running smoothly: Welcome patients with professionalism and compassion, creating an exceptional first impression Check patients in and out while maintaining efficient patient flow Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments Answer incoming calls and respond to inquiries on treatment, scheduling, pricing, financing, and office policies Verify and maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix Process payments, collect balances, and reconcile daily transactions Discuss financing options, including CareCredit, when appropriate Assist patients with insurance documentation and claim information Follow up with prospective patients and encourage scheduling Order and maintain office supplies and administrative materials Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area Perform additional duties as assigned to support the practice Qualifications Because this is a part-time role, we're looking for someone who can step in and contribute quickly: 2+ years of dental front office or dental receptionist experience required Previous experience scheduling patients in a dental practice Experience using Dentrix preferred CareCredit experience preferred Knowledge of dental terminology, treatment planning, and patient scheduling Experience managing the full dental insurance process preferred — verification, benefit review, claim submission, pre-authorizations, payment posting, claim follow-up, and patient financial communication Excellent customer service and communication skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Comfortable working independently and picking up where the team left off between your scheduled days Positive attitude with a team-first mindset
