Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly professional, dependable, and organized Part-Time Administrative Assistant to support daily operations and help maintain a productive, welcoming, safe, and clean environment from the hours of 2:30pm-6pm Monday through Friday with opportunities for more hours. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator who is comfortable taking initiative, coordinating staff, delegating responsibilities, and ensuring that daily tasks and operational standards are consistently met. This position requires someone who can lead by example, communicate clearly with both staff and management, and handle responsibilities with professionalism and discretion. Duties Provide administrative and operational support to management and staff. Help coordinate daily activities and ensure responsibilities are completed efficiently and on time. Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, management, families, and visitors. Assist with scheduling, organizing, and maintaining staff and student records. Help manage staff by assigning and delegating tasks as needed. Follow up with team members to ensure delegated responsibilities are completed properly. Promote accountability, teamwork, and a positive workplace culture. Monitor the work environment to ensure it remains safe, clean, organized, and professional. Identify operational concerns and communicate them to management promptly. Help maintain workplace policies, procedures, and standards. Assist with resolving routine staff or operational issues in a calm and professional manner. Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive business or personnel information. Complete administrative tasks, paperwork, filing, data entry, and other duties as assigned. Take initiative to identify areas where organization, efficiency, cleanliness, or communication can be improved. Assist in classrooms when needed. Qualifications Prior experience in childcare and an administrative position is highly preferred, but not required. Willing to fluctuate and pick up hours when needed is also preferred, but not required. The right person will be comfortable stepping into a leadership-support role, holding staff accountable to expectations, and helping management ensure that the operation runs smoothly. Pay:
$16.00 - $17.00 per hour
