Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Democrat Clerk to join our bi-partisan team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a commitment to providing exceptional administrative support. This role involves various clerical tasks that are essential for the smooth operation of our office. The Democrat Clerk will work alongside the Republican Clerk and will be responsible for managing data entry, assisting with customer support, and maintaining office organization. Responsibilities Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring all information is up-to-date. Provide customer support by addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner. Manage calendars, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings for team members. Utilize Microsoft Office applications for document creation, spreadsheets, and presentations. Proofread documents to ensure accuracy and clarity before distribution. Assist with front desk duties, greeting visitors and directing them appropriately. Maintain organized filing systems for easy retrieval of documents and information. Support office management tasks to enhance overall productivity within the workplace. Requirements Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role is preferred. Strong proficiency in data entry with attention to detail. Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel) is essential. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Strong proofreading skills to ensure high-quality documentation. Experience in customer support or front desk operations is a plus. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. Must be a resident of Hardin County or be willing to relocate within 30 days.
