Help Me Grow Service Coordinator

Position:

Help Me Grow Service Coordinator Position Summary:

The Help Me Grow Service Coordinator will be responsible to coordinate program services and Individual Family Service Plans for children zero to three years of age. The HMG Service Coordinator will provide referrals, coordinate evaluations and complete all program requirements. These families must meet Help Me Grow eligibility criteria cited in the Early Intervention Help Me Grow Program rules. The Service Coordinator will function in a professional manner at all times. The Help Me Grow Service Coordinator will report directly to the HMG Supervisor.

Qualifications/Expectations:

• Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in the areas of Child Development, Social Work, Education, Human or Family Services or related area of study required.
• Demonstrate knowledge of family dynamics, at risk families, infant health and development, parent education, and social services.
• Be knowledgeable of community services and have an understanding of how to access services.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrate ability to organize work and approach work in an organized manner.
• Must have own reliable transportation and valid Ohio Driver's License.
• Must have the ability to physically be on the child's level.
• Must be willing to establish a flexible schedule to meet the needs of families.
• Must have the ability to initiate respectful and meaningful relationships with families.
• Must demonstrate an appropriate professional demeanor and appearance at all times.

HMG Service Coordinator Credential Pay Range:

$19.71 -$23.28 per hour, depending on qualifications

Work Schedule :
