Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-ICU Job Type Contract Deliver critical care and make a real impact in this vital nursing opportunity within a dynamic Intensive Care Unit. This position is ideal for an experienced Registered Nurse who can deliver compassionate, expert care to critically ill patients while working collaboratively with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications:
Current and unrestricted RN license At least 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience BLS and ACLS certifications required Excellent assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering the highest standard of care Comfortable with electronic charting systems and updated practices in ICU patient management
Schedule/Hours:
Contract position with full-time hours Flexible scheduling may be available depending on facility needs
Responsibilities:
Provide direct, specialized care to adults with life-threatening illnesses and injuries in the ICU Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions Administer medications and intravenous therapies accurately and safely Respond promptly to emergencies, collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure optimal outcomes Educate patients and family members about critical care treatment plans and support resources Uphold infection prevention protocols and participate in quality improvement initiatives
