Per the Ohio Department of Education and Lowellville Local School District RequirementsSpecial Knowledge/Skills:
- Serves as the Board Office administrative support for the Superintendent and Treasurer.
- This role manages day-to-day office operations, handles complex correspondence, coordinates high-level schedules, maintains fiscal/budget records, and deals with non-routine matters requiring research and discretion.
- This position also involves accounts maintenance including purchase orders, invoices and fiscal reports, and monitoring of fiscal activities.
- This position will be responsible for the onboarding of employees into payroll, insurance platforms as well as maintaining the insurance records, payments and keeping up with communicating changes dealing with insurance to staff in a professional and courteous manner.
- The position deals with non-routine matters requiring research, investigation or analysis, and knowledge of school wide issues.
- Employees exercise considerable initiative by anticipating requirements of administrator and staff for information, assembling information for reports coming due, and tracking events or situations to keep administrator and staff informed.
Experience:
Three years or more advanced secretarial experience with extensive contact with people is preferred. Prior experience in the executive office of a public school district or another entity and payroll experience is preferred.Salary:
This is an exempt position and the salary will be commensurate with experience.Starting Date:
