Job Description

Richland Public Health is seeking a dependable, organized Clerical Specialist to provide essential administrative support to our Community Health Division. In this role, you will process purchase orders and invoices, maintain financial records, monitor budgets, prepare daily deposits, answer telephone calls, greet visitors, distribute incoming mail, and maintain office files. The ideal candidate will bring strong customer service, organization, planning, basic bookkeeping, and computer skills.
Qualifications include:
High school diploma or GED Coursework in office practices and procedures, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience At least two years of clerical experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience This is a 37-hour-per-week position with a starting wage of $18.59 per hour. Regular hours are scheduled Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m., and Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Occasional evening, weekend, or holiday hours may be required.
