Job Description

Administrative Assistant — Homewatch CareGivers of Lake County Homewatch CareGivers of Lake County is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations for our growing home care business. This role is a good fit for someone who is organized, professional, and adaptable. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, good judgment, and the ability to take initiative.
Responsibilities include:
Answering phones and communicating professionally with clients, families, caregivers, and referral partners Assisting with scheduling caregiver shifts and making updates as needed Processing client payments and helping with basic billing tasks Assisting with payroll-related tasks and caregiver documentation Dropping off paperwork, supplies, or marketing materials as needed Reaching out to referral sources and helping build professional relationships in the community Supporting day-to-day office organization and administrative needs Handling sensitive client and employee information with professionalism and confidentiality Ideal candidate will be: Detail-oriented and organized A strong communicator, both by phone and in writing Friendly, professional, and personable Flexible and able to adapt as priorities change Comfortable taking initiative and problem-solving Reliable and able to follow through on tasks Comfortable working in a small business environment where responsibilities may vary day to day Able to represent the company professionally when interacting with referral sources and community partners
Requirements:
Prior administrative or office experience preferred Strong phone and customer service skills Comfortable using computers and learning new systems Reliable transportation for occasional local drop-offs or outreach Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism Position details: Part-time position Flexible schedule Pay based on experience Located in/near
Mentor, Ohio Pay:
$16.00 - $20.00 per hour
