ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The Bursar's office provides administrative and customer service support to the student population, while also assisting faculty, staff, and visitors with account-related inquiries. Maintain confidentiality of financial information and contribute to the efficient operation of the office.
POSITION SUMMARY, ROUTINE TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Organize office files, and documents. Perform data entry and verify the accuracy of financial and student information. Assist with billing, payment processing, and account reconciliation tasks as assigned. Support office staff with special projects, mail distribution, filing, copying, scanning, and other clerical duties. Maintain a professional and welcoming environment for all students and campus constituents. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to handle confidential information responsibly. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Minimum Qualifications Registered full-time SSU student Eligible to work in the United States Strong communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and follow instructions Ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and social media platforms Follow SSU dress code policy
