Job Description

Job Duties:
Composes and types routine correspondence, reports, invoices, contracts, agreements, and various documents. Sets-up and maintains office filing and record keeping systems. Organizes correspondence. Receives and screens telephone calls and visitors in the office. Takes messages and makes appointments. Copies documents. Operates base radio to receive and transmit messages. Purchases office supplies and office cleaning supplies. Maintains inventories. Makes work orders. Calls utilities for locates. Notifies media when necessary for water outages. Assist management as needed. Maintain composure when dealing with the public. Work area must be in a neat and organized manner at all times. Desk area must be cleared at the end of the work day.
Additional Job Duties:
Performs other related duties as required. Overtime work when and if needed.
Major Work Characteristics:
Typing; adding machine; filing; computer skills; Microsoft Work and Excel; read, copy, and record figures accurately; neat hand writing; basic math including percentages and decimals; ability to follow and comprehend written/verbal instructions; excellent phone skills; pleasant personality; various office equipment; accuracy; multi-tasking.
Physical Requirements:
Energetic; able to climb stairs.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school education; computer skills; Microsoft Word & Excel experience; valid driver's license.
Pay:
From $22.01 per hour
