Are you looking to expand your medical office experience? Dayton Physicians Network is looking to add a Support Associate - Front Office to our Oncology team at our Troy location!
Summary:
The Front Office Support Associate provides support to all functions within the medical office. Duties to include, but are not limited to: answer and route incoming calls; patient check in and out; collect co-payments/deductibles; update patient demographic information, schedule appointments; pull, file, scan medical records; various administrative tasks as required.
Schedule:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Answer and route incoming calls; Obtains, verifies and updates patient demographic information; Collects and records co-payments and/or deductibles; Verifies charts contain all necessary paperwork; Schedules return appointments, as required; Scans medical records for EMR as needed or requested; Ensures patient waiting area is free from trash and clutter; Assists other office support positions as needed or requested; Follow all health care privacy and safety rules and adheres to Dayton Physicians Core Values; Other duties as assigned. Required Education and/ or
Experience:
Requires a High School Diploma or GED. At least one (1) year of previous experience working in a Medical Office or administrative position, 2-3 years' experience is preferred.
General Skill Requirements:
Excellent oral and written communication Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook. Experience working with a Practice Management system. Attendance and punctuality are essential requirements of this position to provide excellent customer service to both our internal and external stakeholders.
