Videos Duties Help Serves as the Administrive Officer (AO) for the Distribution Group within the FAA's Logistics Center. In this role the AO will perform a variety of functions reled to ensuring the smooth and efficient operion of the Group. In the financial realm these roles include but are not limited to tracking spending against different budgets alloced to the Group, providing input on how best to manage the funding in those budgets, and proactively informing management of the stus of the spending against those budgets. The AO may also make purchases for the Group based on requirements and subject to limitions provided by management. The AO will perform basic research and/or da ghering as directed by management and may be required to produce charts, graphs or tabular output th provides clarity and additional informion regarding a variety of subjects. The AO will provide support to the Group as needed regarding training, staffing interviews and selections, travel, employee awards, suspense responses, time & tendance, property, records management and other administrive-reled functions necessary for ensuring compliance with Agency policy. In each of these roles the AO will perform basic but progressively more difficult assignments under the close direction of a manager, project/program manager, team leader, or more experienced professional. Performs as a confidant in handling confidential informion and documents for management, which flow through the office. Acts as a member of a team for projects/programs within a defined area of responsibility and applies basic knowledge applicable to their discipline and limited experience to accomplish assignments. Typical assignments may include collecting and recording da/ informion; conducting research; identifying problems; and assisting higher level professionals in day-to-day operions. Coordines with a manager, project/program manager, team leader, or more experienced professional to plan time and use assigned resources to accomplish tasks. Contacts are primarily internal to the organizional unit with a manager and other employees to share informion, provide da and/or written analyses, and discuss the stuses of assignments. The AO may have contacts with customers and other external parties on routine mters such as ghering informion, explaining regulions, and discussing customers' situions. Established policies/procedures provide detailed guidance for almost all assignments, with little or no room for discretion. Works under detailed instructions provided by a manager, project/program manager, team leader, or more experienced professional. Regularly refers problems and work issues to a manager, project/program manager, team leader, or more experienced professional for guidance. Work is reviewed regularly during assignments and completion to ensure timeliness and all aspects of quality. Work activities typically support the work of other employees and contribute to activities of the organizional level. In some specialties, the work may affect internal and external customers. Qualificions To qualify for this position the FV-F (FG/GS 5-9) level, you must demonstre in your applicion th you possess least three (3) years of progressively responsible general work experience. Such experience may have been gained in administrive, professional, technical, investigive, or other responsible work.
