Overview:
The Administrative Assistant manages daily office operations, coordinates communications, and provides clerical support to keep teams organized and efficient.
Responsibilities:
Process purchasing card expense reports, invoices, and basic accounting tasks Submit invoices to Corporate Accounts Payable for processing Coordinate interviews for new hires and rehires with local supervisors Schedule drug testing for new employees Verify payroll and per diem information with management and submit it for processing Perform additional administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Sound judgment, initiative, and the ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks Strong communication and collaboration skills with personnel, management, and clients, including professional phone etiquette Strong organizational, calendar, time-management, and scheduling skills to meet deadlines Ability to write clear, professional emails, letters, reports, and other documents consistent with the company's brand identity Proficiency with Microsoft Office and knowledge of standard office procedures and equipment Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of utility or heavy construction industry
Pre-Screen:
Upon receiving an offer, candidates may be required to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and/or motor vehicle record (MVR) check

MInimal License and Certification:
A valid driver's license is required
Physical Requirements & Work Conditions:
Sitting:
Ability to sit for extended periods, typically 5 to 7½ hours per day, while working at a computer or answering phones
Lifting and Carrying:
Ability to frequently lift and move items weighing up to 10 lbs. and occasionally lift items weighing up to 25 lbs., including boxes of paper, office supplies, and files
Standing, Walking, Bending, and Reaching:
Ability to stand or walk short distances of 5 to 30 feet, typically for less than 1 to 2 hours per day, and occasionally bend, reach, stretch, kneel, or crouch to operate equipment, retrieve files, access supplies, and complete office tasks
Hand and Finger Dexterity:
