Details:
Full-time 40 hours per week Occasional early mornings and evening hours to support physician and staff meetings. (Infrequent weekend hours are also possible.)
JOB SUMMARY
The Administrative Assistant provides high-level administrative support to Senior Leader roles within the Administration Department for Stillwater Medical. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The Administrative Assistant serves as a key liaison between the Senior Leaders and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication, efficient scheduling, and timely execution of administrative tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school graduate or GED equivalent. Ability to type 60 wpm Must possess ability to handle multiple tasks and constant interruptions. Proven experience in executive-level administrative support, preferably in healthcare or a complex organizational setting. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity. Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer or attending meetings. Manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment such as computers, printers, copiers, and telephones. Occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching to retrieve files or supplies. Ability to lift and carry items up to 20 pounds (e.g., office supplies, meeting materials). Visual acuity to read documents, spreadsheets, and computer screens. Auditory and verbal ability to communicate effectively in person and via all communication technologies platforms. Demonstrates adequate stamina to deal with stressful situations and to complete the necessary work schedule.
