Temp To Full-Time Do you have strong customer service and administrative support experience and want to bring those skills to work for a prominent local leader in the event and hospitality industry? Then this position is for you!
LOCATION
 
Portland, OR SALARY:
 $23-$25/hr.
SCHEDULE
 Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm

THE ROLE
As the Administrative Assistant to the Executive Chef, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen and administrative functions. From managing schedules to database management, you'll be at the heart of the culinary operations.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide administrative support to our Executive Chef and culinary team members. Manage schedules, appointments, and travel arrangements for the Executive Chef. Maintain kitchen inventory and order supplies as needed. Handle correspondence, emails, and phone calls with professionalism and efficiency. Proficiently manage Excel spreadsheets and other administrative documents. Assist with financial tasks, such as expense tracking and budget management. Coordinate meetings, events, and special projects as required. Serve as a liaison between the culinary team and other departments within theanization.
SKILLS AND MUST-HAVES
A passion for the culinary arts and a desire to support a talented culinary team. Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a culinary or hospitality setting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word. Exceptionalanizational and time management skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping. Excellentmunication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. A proactive mindset and a willingness to take on new challenges.
