Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as an Administrative Assistant in our Easement Department, where your expertise will drive the accuracy and efficiency of property title investigations. In this vital role, you will conduct detailed research to verify property ownership, uncover potential liens or encumbrances, and support the seamless processing of real estate transactions. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will ensure that our clients receive reliable title information, enabling confident property transfers and safeguarding investments. This paid position offers an engaging environment for those passionate about real estate law, research, and customer service. Duties Conduct comprehensive title searches using legal records, public databases, GIS (Geographic Information Systems), and other resources to establish clear property ownership histories. Analyze legal descriptions, deeds, mortgages, liens, and court records to identify potential issues affecting property titles. Locate any easements existing and copy all Prepare detailed reports summarizing findings and highlighting any encumbrances or restrictions on properties. Assist in the processing of title documents for easement use, by verifying accuracy and completeness before final submission. Utilize GIS tools to map property boundaries accurately and support spatial analysis related to land titles. Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to inquiries from internal teams or external clients regarding easement status or research progress. Experience Prior experience in a law office, real estate firm, or title company is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of real estate law principles related to property ownership and title transfer processes. Proven research skills with the ability to navigate multiple databases, legal records, and GIS platforms efficiently. Familiarity with title processing procedures and document management systems. Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and client interaction. Ability to work independently while managing multiple cases with precision and timeliness. A detail-oriented mindset with a passion for accuracy in legal and land records research. $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
