Job Description

We are looking for a caring, personable, and customer-focused individual who genuinely loves dogs—but also thrives in a fast-paced, structured environment. This position is the first point of contact for our clients and plays a key role in keeping daily operations running smoothly. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and able to multitask in a busy, sometimes noisy setting. This is a on-site role.
Responsibilities include:
Greeting customers and providing excellent customer service Managing check-ins and check-outs for daycare, boarding, and grooming appointments Answering phones, scheduling reservations, and responding to customer inquiries Accurately entering and updating customer and pet information in our system Communicating clearly with the care team to ensure proper handling of each dog Maintaining a clean, organized front office area What we're looking for: Prior experience in a customer-facing role is required Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask and stay focused during busy periods Comfortable working in a loud, active environment with dogs Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team Additional expectations: This is a fast-paced position that requires attention to detail and the ability to stay calm under pressure You will be interacting with both people and dogs throughout your shift Availability for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required
Pay:
$14.00 - $17.00 per hour

Approximately how many words per minute can you type? If you have pet industry experience what type of software have you used? (e.g., Gingr, PetExec, etc.)? This front desk role involves managing phones, assisting customers, and handling multiple tasks during busy periods. Are you comfortable staying organized and professional while multitasking? This position will require some shifts that begin at 6am, some that end at 7pm (Mon-Fri), and some weekends (Sat 830-430 or Sun 1030-230). Do you have any scheduling restrictions that would interfere with these hours?
