Job Description
Customer Service:
Assist customers in person or by telephone with licensing and registration needsCredential Processing:
Examine, verify, and issue driver license and registration documentsForm Handling:
Process bureau forms for replacements, corrections, renewals, and disability placardsRecord Research:
Investigate discrepancies and retrieve documents to correct customer recordsPayment Review:
Determine negotiability of checks and money orders and handle cash transactionsPolicy Compliance:

Full-time employment, 40 hours per week. Work hours are 7:30am to 4:00pm, Monday-Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Possibility of voluntary or mandatory overtime. May be required to work when a full day and/or partial-day office closing is authorized. To include but not limited to: early dismissals for inclement weather; the day before holidays and special holiday closings.Telework:

Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $39,287 (before taxes). Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or Graduation from high school; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.Additional Requirements:
