Job Description

Examine and process motor vehicle and driver licensing applications using computer systemsCustomer Service:
Communicate with customers in person or by phone to provide guidance and answer questionsPayment Handling:
Process cash, checks, money orders, and card payments in accordance with guidelinesDocument Verification:
Review identity, residency, and ownership documents to ensure authenticityRecord Updates:
Maintain accurate motor vehicle and licensing records and monitor office suppliesTraining Assistance:

Full-time employment, 40 hours/week Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Overtime may be available after training is complete. Mandatory overtime may apply. You may be required to work when a full day and/or partial-day office closing is authorized. This may include early dismissals for inclement weather, the day before holidays, and special holiday closings.Telework:

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration) ; or One year of moderately complex clerical experience ; or An equivalent combination of experience and training .Additional Requirements:
