THE POSITION
The Department of Conservation & Natural Resources is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the diverse administrative functions that keep the Kinzua Bridge State Park Complex-which includes Kinzua Bridge, Bendigo and Elk State Parks-running efficiently. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This position is responsible for performing a wide range of administrative functions that support the efficient operation of the Kinzua Bridge State Park Complex. Key responsibilities include purchasing, budget preparation and fiscal analysis, serving as the lead worker for clerical staff, managing incoming revenue, and supporting visitor services. The role also provides backup assistance in human resources, payroll, and timekeeping. The employee must interpret and apply Commonwealth, Department, and Bureau policies and procedures related to budgeting, fiscal management, procurement, and human resources to ensure accurate, compliant, and effective administrative operations across the park complex. Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment Work hours are typically 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Employee works a 37.5-hour schedule across five days each week, which may include holidays and weekends during peak seasons.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four year college or university or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
