Job Description

Administrative Assistant - Downtown Pittsburgh, PA Central Data Services, Inc. Are you someone who enjoys helping others and takes pride in making a difference every day? At Central Data Services, Inc. (CDS) , the largest locally owned employee benefit services firm in the greater Pittsburgh area, we're looking for a compassionate, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our dedicated team in our downtown office. At CDS, we believe that excellent service begins with genuine care—for our clients, our community, and one another. About the Role The Administrative Assistant is reliable and task-oriented working directly with our client service team performing many general administrative duties including daily review of incoming mail, assisting with data entry projects and keeping the team organized. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, professional, possesses strong organizational and problem-solving skills and is capable of managing their workload and prioritizing tasks. What You'll Do Coordinate incoming correspondence, and prepare documents for internal processing and outgoing distribution. Process eligibility information, including new enrollments, changes, and terminations of coverage. Learn key aspects of benefits administration such as COBRA, carrier updates, participant communications, and claims processing. Review records to identify and resolve discrepancies with accuracy and professionalism. What You Bring Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Prior experience in customer service or benefits is a plus. Excellent listening and problem-solving abilities Ability to manage time effectively, stay organized, and think independently.
