Office Assistant - Part Time Wolfe Memorial, LLC Pittsburgh, PA Job Details Part-time From $20 an hour 5 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and dependable Office Assistant to join our small, locally owned funeral home. This position is an important part of our operations and provides administrative support while helping families during a difficult time. This is an opportunity to join a small team where your work truly makes a difference every day. The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, able to handle sensitive information with discretion, and comfortable working in a quiet, service-oriented environment. Responsibilities Answer telephone calls and greet visitors in a warm and professional manner Prepare, proofread, and file documents, forms, obituaries, death certificates, prayer cards, and other printed materials Enter and maintain records in the funeral home management system Keep the office, arrangement room, and public areas organized and presentable Provide support to funeral directors and staff as needed Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Previous office, receptionist, administrative assistant, customer service, or funeral home experience preferred Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations with compassion Proficient with computers, email, Microsoft Word, Excel, Quickbooks, and basic office equipment Ability to multitask and work independently in a small office setting Professional appearance and demeanor Flexible and willing to assist wherever needed Reliable transportation and punctual attendance required Schedule 4 hours per week guaranteed, with additional hours as needed Compensation and Benefits Pay negotiable based on experience Supportive, family-oriented work environment Opportunity for long-term employment with a respected local business •Please submit an introduction along with your resume OR a description of your relevant experience to .
