What We Are Looking For:

As our Assistant Personal Training Director, you will support the driving force behind our fitness programs, combining your passion for fitness with your supportive sales skills. You'll assist in leading a team of dedicated personal trainers, helping to set and surpass sales targets while fostering a positive and motivating environment. The Assistant Personal Training Director position is critical for our members' fitness success plan! Our APT Directors will work hand in hand with our membership teams to ensure a positive member experience as they are introduced to the benefits of working with a Fitness Professional to assure their success as they begin their fitness journey with LA Fitness. Day in the Life of an

APTD:

• Sales Support
• Assist the PT Director in finding ~3-4 current or new members to meet with daily, taking them through customized workout routines, and setting them up on monthly PT programs to help them reach their goals.
• Trainer Support
• Help in meeting with all the trainers on a weekly basis to evaluate how you can assist them in servicing their current clientele and identify ways to increase client retention and client fulfillment.
• Customer Service Concierge
• Address customer questions, comments, or concerns. Assist clients with simple tasks like booking their next session with their trainer or updating their billing information.
• Team Support
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, training, and developing a team of exercise professionals to allow many hands in the club to work towards collective goals.

Requirements:

• Experience in sales support, preferably in the fitness industry
• Passion for health and fitness
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Supportive leadership approach with a positive and motivating attitude
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment

Pay Range:

• [Non-CA]: Minimum Wage per hour, plus net commissions, which realistically range from $3,500 to $5,000 per month. The Top 10% of APTDs in our company average between $5,000
