Church Administrative Manager Job Scope:
The Technical Administrative Assistant will Perform social media and website updates in addition to providing administrative and clerical support as assigned by the Church Administrative Manager, Trustee Board Chair, and various ministries (A/V and Outreach in particular) to support the daily effective operation of the Church. Creation and accurate and inspiring church communications inclusive of the Sunday service and special event bulletins, slide presentation, monthly calendar updating of church website and social media platforms. Perform minor changes/modifications to the website and partner with website vendor in more significant updates Work in alignment with church staff members contributing to effective and efficient church operations. Highly skilled in the Microsoft Office suite of applications, which include, PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Publisher. Willingness to upgrade skills as necessary.
Job Duties:
Create weekly church bulletin and other communications as assigned Create AV Ministry slides for Sunday service and special events Update Church website and social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) with ongoing current activities Create flyers and communicative tools for use on website and social media Support online/digital ministry, including the Online Digital Minister in addition to other ministries, as agreed with the Administrative Manager Provide back up support for Church Administrative Manager Day to day activities (answer telephone and doorbell and handle questions from walk-in members and visitors). Support church projects in an efficient and effective manner General record keeping as assigned Support mailings and distribution of communications as assigned Maintain inventory and supplies Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Effective working experience with the Microsoft Suite. Which includes, PowerPoint, Word for Windows, Excel and Publisher is required Previous administrative experience Graphic Designer - creates graphics primarily for published, printed, or electronic media, such as bulletins, brochures and advertising. Excellent organizational and prioritization skills in a constantly changing environment Demonstrated attention to detail and follow up skills required Demonstrated decision-making skills and good judgment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience working independently, make decisions, and follow through on activities Knowledge of church protocol and practices
