Job Description

Administrative Assistant (Hybrid) - Washington, MO Canam Steel Corporation United States, Missouri, Washington 2000 West Main Street (Show on map) May 08, 2026 This position follows a hybrid work model, with the expectation to be onsite at our Buckeye, AZ or Washington, MO preferred locations up to three (3) days per week, or as determined by your manager based on team and business needs. The remaining days may be worked remotely. Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of one of our preferred locations of Buckeye, AZ or Washington, MO. Other locations may be considered. Flexibility in the hybrid schedule may vary depending on departmental needs. Provides administrative support and document control to Estimation staff by organizing information, ensuring it is prepared for technical evaluation, and any other administrative functions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Monitor and process emails from shared estimating email inboxes.
  • Ability to move around various internet sites and storage sites.
  • Tag, prioritize and organize emails.
  • Review Request for Quotes and follow up with sales as needed.
  • Perform data entry using CSC sales and estimation system.
  • Download large contract documentation files from various ftp sites and upload onto company Share Point folder system.
  • Extract, organize, compile and manage contract documentation using pdf software Bluebeam.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills and high attention to detail are a must.
  • Maintain ownership of assigned inbox while assisting other team members as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
