We believe every athlete deserves the opportunity to participate, build confidence, develop friendships, and experience the joy of sport. As Dream Court continues to grow, we are looking for a Nonprofit Operations Coordinator who wants to be part of something meaningful and is excited to help make our programs, events, volunteers, and organization run smoothly. This is a hands-on position for someone who is organized, dependable, proactive, adaptable, and comfortable taking ownership . The right person will enjoy a fast-paced, less-structured nonprofit environment where no two days look the same. The Opportunity The Nonprofit Operations Coordinator will work closely with the Executive Director and Dream Court team to support the day-to-day operations of the organization. This person will have the opportunity to gain experience across many areas of nonprofit management, including administration, donor relations, grants, communications, events, volunteer coordination, finances, technology, and program support . We are looking for someone who doesn't wait to be told what needs to be done—someone who notices what needs attention, solves problems, follows through, and takes pride in helping the organization succeed. Is a flexible team player who enjoys helping wherever needed. Communicates professionally and warmly with donors, volunteers, families, community partners, and team members. Is comfortable working in a fast-paced, less-structured nonprofit environment. Has a genuine desire to support Dream Court's mission, athletes, volunteers, and community. Previous nonprofit or administrative experience is preferred but not required. We are more interested in finding someone with the right attitude, work ethic, organizational skills, and willingness to learn. Key Responsibilities Administrative & Executive Support Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments for the Executive Director. Prepare donor letters, correspondence, thank-you letters, and other communications. Assist with preparation of Board of Directors meeting packages and materials. Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems. Provide administrative and clerical support for the Executive Director and management functions. Order supplies and coordinate vendor relationships as directed by the Executive Director. Donor, Grant & Financial Support Maintain and update the organization's donor and constituent database. Assist with grant applications and grant-related documentation. Prepare invoices and tax letters within required timelines. Maintain financial documents and records. Assist with bookkeeping and coordinate with outside bookkeeping services. Assist the Executive Director with budgeting and financial organization. Communications & Marketing Manage and update website content. Coordinate social media activities with outside vendors. Edit and format written materials, including press releases, newsletters, and organizational communications. Help ensure Dream Court's message and information are communicated accurately and consistently. Programs, Events & Fundraising Provide administrative and logistical support for Dream Court practices, tournaments, events, and fundraisers. Assist with event preparation, coordination, communication, and follow-up. Help ensure organizational projects and events stay organized and on schedule. Volunteer Coordination Develop and implement strategies to recruit volunteers based on organizational needs. Build relationships with community groups, schools, and corporate teams to develop volunteer opportunities. Promote volunteer opportunities through outreach campaigns and events. Help volunteers understand Dream Court's policies, procedures, and expectations. Maintain accurate volunteer records and documentation. Match volunteers with appropriate roles based on skills and interests. Develop volunteer schedules and manage assignments. Track volunteer hours and help measure volunteer and program impact. Organizational Operations Manage insurance documentation for Dream Court programs and Board of Directors. Maintain and organize finance and operational documents. Help identify and solve day-to-day operational challenges. Take ownership of assigned projects and follow them through to completion. Who We Are Looking For Technology & Software The successful candidate should be comfortable using technology and willing to become proficient in the software used by Dream Court, including: Microsoft Word and Excel Google Drive Bloomerang In It Live Constant Contact Squarespace Canva Other marketing, communications, and nonprofit software You do not need to be an expert in every platform on day one. We are looking for someone who is comfortable with technology and eager to learn. What Success Looks Like Success in this position means becoming someone the Dream Court team can count on . You will help keep information organized, follow up on important details, support volunteers and events, keep projects moving, and make the Executive Director's job easier. Most importantly, you will help create the behind-the-scenes organization that allows Dream Court to focus on what matters most: providing meaningful opportunities and experiences for our athletes.
