Job Description
Office Assistant Crouse Construction is a family owned construction company located in Harrison, Arkansas. We are seeking a dependable, organized, and flexible Office Assistant to support our daily administrative, human resource, payroll, and accounting functions. Job Responsibilities Process payroll accurately and on schedule Pay bills, enter invoices, and maintain organized financial records Assist with basic accounting and bookkeeping tasks Support employee onboarding and other basic human resources functions Prepare, organize, and maintain office and project documentation Assist with general office duties, filing, correspondence, and recordkeeping Willing to learn and use various software programs Communicate professionally with employees, vendors, and project personnel Perform light janitorial cleaning and help maintain an orderly office Provide additional administrative support as needed Qualifications At least two years of administrative or office experience preferred Experience processing payroll and paying bills preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines Self-motivated and able to work independently Professional communication and problem-solving skills Ability to handle confidential employee and financial information Previous accounting, bookkeeping, human resources, or construction-office experience is a plus Position Details Approximately 35-40 hours per week Monday through Friday (8:00-4:30) In-person position; remote work is not available Benefits include: Health insurance Paid time off Retirement plan A waiting period may apply.
