Overview We are seeking a dependable, patient, and highly organized Part-Time Office & Personal Assistant to support two people both personal and light professional capacities. The role involves helping the couple manage day-to-day technology, communication, scheduling, errands, and light medical office administrative tasks. One principal is a practicing physician who occasionally requires administrative support related to medical office operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal sensitivity, calm communication skills, and a compassionate demeanor. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys helping others, is naturally organized, and can provide thoughtful support to aging adults while maintaining professionalism and discretion. Responsibilities Assist with basic technology troubleshooting: Password resets Email assistance Smartphone/computer support Printing/scanning documents Help make phone calls, schedule appointments, and coordinate calendars Draft and send emails or correspondence Provide light medical office administrative support Organize paperwork, files, and household/office records Run occasional local errands and pickups Coordinate vendors or service appointments as needed Offer patient, respectful assistance to two older adults with varying support needs Handle sensitive information confidentially Qualifications Prior secretarial, executive assistant, administrative assistant, or office management experience preferred Medical office or healthcare administrative experience is a plus Excellent organizational and communication skills Comfortable with computers, smartphones, email, and common office software Kind, patient, and emotionally intelligent personality Ability to work independently and anticipate needs Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required Must be trustworthy, discreet, and dependable Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is someone who: Enjoys supporting older adults Is calm, reassuring, and adaptable Can switch comfortably between personal assistance and professional office support Understands boundaries, confidentiality, and professionalism Is proactive without being overbearing Additional Details Some tasks can be completed remotely Flexible scheduling available Local candidates preferred To Apply Please submit: A brief introduction about yourself Relevant experience Availability References (preferred) We are looking for someone who will become a trusted and steady source of support for our family.
