Bilingual Medical Personal Assistant (Remote/Hybrid)
Location:
1850 N. Riverside Ave., Suite 110, Rialto, CA 92376
Pay:
$18.50-$20.00 per hour (1099 Independent Contractor)
Schedule:
Monday-Thursday:
9:00 AM-5:00 PM PST (1-hour lunch at 12:00 PM)
Friday:
9:00 AM-1:00
PM PST Total:
32 hours per week Work remotely 4 out of 5 days per week (one in-office day each week)
Start Date:
Immediate About the Position We are seeking a highly organized, motivated, bilingual (English/Spanish) Personal Assistant with experience in a medical office setting. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in staying organized while supporting both clinical and administrative operations. The ideal candidate is dependable, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision. Responsibilities Complete utilization reviews and obtain insurance authorizations. Submit and follow up on medical insurance claims. Read and interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOBs). Schedule and manage patient appointments. Assist with insurance credentialing. Maintain and organize Google Calendar schedules. Support Human Resources with administrative tasks. Coordinate projects and ensure deadlines are met. Conduct internet research and gather accurate information. Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and insurance companies. Maintain accurate documentation and electronic records. Assist with additional administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required:
Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and verbal) Previous experience working in a multidisciplinary medical office Experience with: Utilization Reviews Insurance Authorizations Medical Insurance Claims Insurance Credentialing Reading and interpreting EOBs Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly Advanced knowledge of Google Calendar and Google Workspace Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong project management abilities Excellent internet research skills College-level reading and writing skills Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines Self-motivated with strong initiative Excellent follow-through and attention to detail Ability to follow detailed instructions while working independently Compensation & Growth Starting pay: $18.50-$20.00 per hour 1099 Independent Contractor position After six months of successful employment with no corrective actions , employees will receive a $1.50 per hour increase . Additional performance-based raises may be considered annually following the six-month review. We're Looking for
