Job Description

The Ironside Rural Road Assessment District 5 is accepting applications for the secretary position. This is a part time, work from home job. Job would begin October 1, 2026.

Knowledge of :
Record keeping and book keeping principles; computers and accounting programs; office equipment; payroll, payroll taxes and reporting. Annual budget preparation and notification publishing.
Ability :
Work independently and prepare for meetings. Attend monthly Board Meetings of the Ironside Road District, take minutes, present checks and bills for Board approval. Balance and reconcile bank accounts. make sure sufficient funds are on hand to meet the District's financial requirements. Provide information to the accounting firm for annual audit. Keep files organized.
Experience/Training:
High school graduate or equivalent; prefer prior experience as secretary or bookkeeper; good work ethic and ability to be bonded.
