The Division of Finance & Administration (DFA), part of the Department of Health & Human Services (DHHS), is searching for a proactive Support Services Coordinator II. In this pivotal role, you won't just manage tasks; you'll be part of the administrative and financial heartbeat of our agency, ensuring our teams have the resources they need to serve the community effectively. You will serve as a strategic partner, analyzing equipment usage,assuring correct purchasing patterns,and advising leadership on critical resource allocation. This is your opportunity to solve complex administrative puzzles, recommend innovative solutions, and play a direct role in the fiscal health and organizational success of DHHS.
Inventory Ownership:
Take the lead in overseeing all regional assets and inventory, ensuring every dollar is maximized for impact.
Regional Purchasing Agent :
Act as a subject matter expert, advising providers, clients, and management on proper procurement procedures.
Precision & Agility:
Execute timely purchases and equipment distribution, demonstrating your ability to adapt to the dynamic needs of our agency.
Data Champion:
Leverage financial data to power critical auditing, payment, and administrative functions.
Analytical Expertise:
Exercise mastery over cost coding and billing, providing the analysis needed for sound financial planning.
Collaborative Design:
Partner with the team to design and implement financial functionalities and document workflows. Qualifications What You Bring to the
Team Regional Purchasing Leadership:
Mastermind accounts and policy compliance, ensuring our regional offices are fully equipped and operational.
Financial Operations :
Drive the Eastern region's financial health by managing Vantage payments, deposits, and travel assistance with precision.
Asset Stewardship :
Oversee the full lifecycle of agency equipment—from phones to computers—ensuring our team has high-performing tools.
Compliance Authority :
Maintain the highest standards of integrity by conducting thorough audits of our trust account systems.
Regional Payments Expert :
Take ownership of Contracted CAPS payments, supporting the vital operations of the Eastern Region.
Building Coordinator:
Be the guardian of our physical workspace, managing security, vendor interfaces, and facility resolutions across the region.
Play a critical role in the employee journey by managing equipment issuance and successful onboarding for new talent.
Fleet Coordinator:
Drive the Eastern region's work forward by coordinating all aspects of Fleet operations from Monthly vehicle and mileage monitoring to vehicle replacements. Preference will be given to current Division of Finance & Administration/Utah Division of Child and Family Services within (DHHS) employees.

This position may currently be a hybrid of both in-office and remote work days. Please note, a position's eligibility for remote work is established by agency management and is subject to change at their discretion, at any time and for any reason.
