We're looking for someone who can be the extra set of hands that people sometimes need — a true "Mama's Helper." Call Mama provides personalized support to individuals, couples, families, and anyone who could use a little extra help managing everyday life. Every client and every day may look a little different, so we're looking for someone who is flexible, caring, resourceful, and willing to jump in wherever help is needed. What You May Help With House cleaning and tidying Meal preparation and cooking Grocery shopping and grocery delivery Running errands and picking up items Home organization and decluttering Laundry and other household tasks Event setup and cleanup Shopping and preparing for celebrations Helping clients stay organized and on top of everyday tasks Providing an extra helping hand with whatever reasonable household or personal tasks a client may need Requirements Must be 18 years of age or older Be able to pass a background check Have reliable transportation to and from clients location Must be comfortable traveling within these areas: Charleston, Mt. Pleasant, West Ashley, James Island, Johns Island, Daniel Island, North Charleston, Sullivan's Island, Isle of Palms, Folly Beach Trustworthy and dependable Warm, kind, and compassionate Respectful of people's homes, privacy, and personal belongings Family-oriented and caring Comfortable helping people of different ages and backgrounds A good communicator Organized and able to manage different types of tasks Flexible and willing to think on their feet Someone who takes pride in doing things well Someone with a genuineheart who enjoys making other people's lives a little easier Above all, we want someone who understands that this isn't simply a cleaning or errand job, you're stepping into someone's life and becoming the person they can count on.
