LADYS ISLAND MIDDLE POSITION PURPOSE
: To conduct the planned activities and oversight of the athletic study hall program so that it is a safe and enriching environment for the participants.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
: Adhere to the Before and After School Child Care Quality Standards. Directly supervise or facilitate activities or areas to provide appropriate experiences for students. Set and maintain appropriate standards for student behavior using non-punitive methods, which teach self-discipline while supporting student self-esteem. Provide direct supervision of work areas and student activities to ensure safety and quality. Assist in procuring equipment and clean-up of supplies for planned activities. Report incidents to appropriate personnel. Provide timely input on needed program supplies and materials. Maintain a cooperative relationship with all other staff members. Perform and promote all activities in compliance with established policies and procedures. Ensure adherence to safety rules and procedures. Follow federal and state laws, as well as School Board policies.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES
: Performs other related tasks as assigned by the Principal, Superintendent or other district office administrator as designated by the Superintendent.
QUALIFICATIONS
: Must be a current Beaufort County School District Employee.

Demonstrate professionalism and appropriate judgment in behavior, speech, and dress in a neat, clean and professional manner for the assignment and work setting. Have regular and punctual attendance. Follow all District policies, work procedures, and reasonable requests by the proper authorities.
