Role:

As an Eligibility Specialist, you'll play a key role in determining individual and family eligibility for state programs. Your work ensures program integrity through accurate reviews and documentation.

What You Need:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office & can easily learn new technology Ability to perform basic math computations Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Critical thinking and ability to follow structured processes

Training Details:

Training Duration:

4-6 weeks (classroom style, paid) No approved time off during training

What You'll Do:

Collect and evaluate applicant documentation Analyze and verify eligibility for benefits Work independently in a cubicle-style workspace after training Use critical thinking skills to apply policies and procedures Communicate with applicants by phone for clarification (minimal inbound calls) Work across multiple computer systems and screens daily Maintain confidentiality and provide excellent customer service This is a fantastic career opportunity to gain valuable experience with a state agency in a structured and professional environment.
